At NordicMAX, we are committed to continuously improving our sustainability efforts and take our environmental responsibility seriously. Through a thorough analysis of our operations, we have identified our distribution chain as the most significant factor in our environmental impact. That’s why we actively work to optimize logistics, choose sustainable materials, and collaborate with suppliers who share our vision for a greener future.
Outbound Deliveries
We strive to minimize the environmental impact of our deliveries by coordinating and optimizing our transport flows. Our ambition is for all our deliveries to be climate-neutral, and we partner with logistics providers that offer carbon-offset transportation. Today, the majority of our shipments in key markets are climate-compensated.
Inbound Deliveries
To reduce the environmental footprint of inbound shipments, we prioritize European suppliers whenever possible. This helps shorten transport distances and lower emissions. We also optimize our procurement processes to avoid half-full shipments, ensuring maximum efficiency in transport capacity.
Packaging & Materials
We are actively working to phase out plastic in our operations and replace it with renewable alternatives. All our outbound deliveries are plastic-free, and we exclusively use FSC-certified corrugated cardboard and paper-based materials. We also strive to reduce overall packaging volume through smart design and reuse initiatives.
Sustainable Workplace
Sustainability is an integral part of our daily operations. Our facilities use energy-efficient LED lighting, we prioritize waste recycling, and we collaborate with a certified partner for electronic waste (WEEE) management. Additionally, we reuse approximately 80% of all corrugated cardboard, giving packaging materials a second life and contributing to a more circular business model.
